Frederik Willem Zürcher was an Irish painter born in Dublin. He was the son of run away to spend a year in the United States, but eventually moved to England to study at Heatherley's Academy and also the Royal Academy Schools. He specialized in watercolor depictions of various natural landscapes and farm life scenery.
