Jacob Dooijewaard was a Dutch painter and draftsman. He
painted genre scenes, cityscapes, winter scenes, portraits and
still lifes. He got awarded the Willink van Collenprijs in 1903.
Dooijewaard was a member of multiple artist association; He
was friends with William and Anna Singer and his work is to be
found there as well as in the Stedelijk Museum, which
dedicated an exhibition to his work.
